Every time i turn betty out in the morning she drags her heels , lol she doesnt even get into 1st gear.. I swear she knows i'm in a rush to get mucked out etc... anyway you would think she was in reverse the way she goes out to the field.. you know the face.. please dont put me out into the scary field etc... So how come when YO puts her our she just tootles out without a care in the world.... GRrrrrr... Is she just taking the mick out of me.. YIP i think so.... does your horse do this to you or is it just mine!

Whisk drags me out in the morning, grabs his carrot and charges off with it hanging out of his mouth! Hadleigh is much more sedate as befits a horse of his age...29. However at night it is completely different. If it is warm, sunny and dry he will hang around the gate waiting impatiently. If, like tonight, it is dark wet and windy he will be as far away as possible and become deaf!!

Ted has to be dragged out to the field on very cold, wet or windy days. He is an allegedly tough New Forest Pony, forest bred (ie born out on the forest), but he loves his home comforts

In the field, he quite often looks up and sees me coming down the lane, stares for a while and then wanders off in the opposite direction!

I used to turn out my old horse and a friends and mine was always really keen and marching and the other had to dragged. I ended up being pulled apart every morning!

I get towed out every morning unless it's raining, in which case I have to tow them out

When OH leads them he gets dragged around the yard until I take pity on him and put them out for him.
