Belated chrimbo pressie

My delightful Donnegan decided to give me a belated chrimbo pressie today...............a broken collar bone

Bless him!
Went out for a lovely hack this morning, having a nice wander through the heath when he quickly spun round and cantered off with his head between his legs bucking until I came off

Now I'm at work on a night shift with a broken collar bone feeling very sorry for myself as they could'nt get cover

Ooh you poor thing. Sympathise as I fell on my shoulder last weekend and it hurt a lot and its not even broken. Take it easy and get people running round after you!

No it was'nt because of this nasty weather, it was just because my horse is a git

But what can you do with a full TB who has a joint problem so full work means him going lame and being miserable or him in semi retirement (@ age of 12!) and behaving like that

I don't know, time to buy a hamster instead, me thinks

I wish I'd of had that to say when I phoned in after going to A+E

I work on an elderly care ward so its not really a job I can do with a broken collar bone
