I do.. hes gorgeous.. love him to bits, so soppy and very cheeky. His name is Monty, by cavalors winningmood. Bred to jump but think will will do a nice dressage test too and is very brave so hopin he will do xc too.. Hes only 3 so only just started working, but learning very quickly. wood post picks but haven't worked out how to do it yet. xxxxx

My horse of a lifetime was a Belgian Warmblood. Meet Beppe:-

He was a fabulous jumper with poor flatwork and a fussy mouth but would jump most things in front of him. I bought him to get me round a British Novice and I ended up jumping Newcomers and Novice Eventing - he was a star and of course gorgeous

I don't know. I think they can vary a great deal though as they are a mixture of blood. When I looked into Beppe's sire I found out that he had raced, so lots of TB there probably.

My mare is a Belgian Warmblood. She is a lovely looking horse and has a brilliant jump, she has taken me from 1m to 1.20m. She is out of Orkann. I wouldnt swap her for the world

I have one and he is 4 - chestnut and lovely coming along really well - got the hang of dressage extremely quickly - seems to do it naturaly - natural self carriage - also the muscles just seem to come easier with a Belgium dont know why??- already extending really nicley which I think is great as he was only backed 6months ago.

Cant wait to start doing some proper jumping on him as they also seem brave - he went past a bonfire night fire the other night to get from the field and led the older horse past - sniffed a little but just walked right on past -

So in short would definitely - like everyone else would recommend them as a breed - :-)

most 'breeds' are a mixture of something somewhere in their bloodlines
I must ask what do you ride??
and yes i own and compete a warm blood and what a splendid mongrel (???) he is !!!!!

I agree with Maude.

All warmbloods are X breeds - they are a result of carefully

selected crossing between a hot blood - usually TB and cold blood - draught type, in varying quantities.

The ISH is effectively an Irish Warmblood
