Hi - well, I went to see Bella today (see previous posts - for some unknown reason she ended up with the meat man but luckily a really nice man saved her).

She looked great, really well, and was lovely to handle (no sign of biting / kicking / aggressive behaviour like the previous owner accused her of!)

I didn't see her ridden as the girl who rides her was at a show but apparently her flat work is coming on well and so is her jumping. So so pleased :D

Plus I assume the lady has no court case against me now as her new owner couldn't be more pleased with her...thank god for happy endings!!! I just hope the lady who said she was only good enough for the slaughter and sold her to the meat man (owner of a large equestrian centre nr Southwell) gets her come-uppance (sp?!) one day.

Pics aren't that great as she kept coming towards me and the camera :)

She's really lovely! I don't know how anybody could sell any horse to slaughter :(
And snap on the name front, our horse is called Bella too :)

Why, why was a lovely horse like that with the meat man in the first place, or have I missed a thread? She is stunning by the way!

So glad it worked out ok for her! She looks lovely, and i'm really glad her new owners are getting on with her.

Oh, and the previous owner is obviously an idiot, Bella must have recognised this and that would explain the mystery 'aggressive' behaviour. She was just trying to clean up the gene pool ;)

She is totally lovely! I bet the new people are thrilled with her!

The other person must be a weirdo? What on earth could she have done which meant she was only good for the meat man?! How long did she bother to keep her for?
