Beanz has an innie. I have known some geldings with an outie but it wasnt their belly button.

Onyx has an innie - I guess because it is completely invisible now so healed flat, Topaz has an outie - she is only a few days old!

Don’t laugh but one of my friends convinced me it could be a sarcoid so got the vet out and she told me it was his outy belly button, lol!

That must be what happened to her!
At some point during her colic surgery, some opportunist has spotted her finely formed belly button and whipped it off for their own devious purposes.
How much would a belly button be worth in terms of compensation, do you think?

My boy has a huge outie! I hadn't noticed a belly button on any horse until he arrived a few weeks ago, they usually just look like another whorl. I was a bit worried at first then realised what it was!!

Ha ha, I also did this! My grey mare has an outie bellie button. I noticed it whilst waiting for the vet to arrive for her vetting. As soon as the vet arrived (a real strict looking and talking woman) I asked her to have a look to see if she thought it was a sarcoid (was cursing myself for not noticing sooner) and was bluntly told it was her belly button - the shame!

Yep, me too I'll tell myself its easily done. Everytime I groom this damn pony, and always in front of his owner I say "Ooh, whats this lump I've just found" and she'll reply "Tell me you're not going to report his belly button again, are you?"

I passed equine anatomy and physiology, somehow, honest!
