Well Ben is going to look a smart dude, have just bought him this:

I then went onto robinsons to get chalk powder, plaiting stuff, stain remover etc... Sadly they don't do express delivery at the moment because they have a sale on! So couldn't guarantee delivery on time :( so going to go and get it down the road.

Local show confirmed we can go in the 3 yrs and under in hand class on a ticket for a practice so its all go!

Can't wait to tart him up in his pretties:D
 
For a minute there I thought you'd bathed him in l'oreal preference creme or something!!!

Phew... Can't wait to see him in his glad rags! :):):):):

Pmsl! We plan the great transformation from yak to handsome rouge on Tuesday... Trimming and faffing... Getting rid of everything that shouldn't be there! Bath this weekend then bath next week again... No l'oreal... Just buckets of blue shampoo:D:p. it's really happening!!!

I'm really excited to see him dolled up too, all his stuff to date has pretty much been hand me downs apart from his bridle and bit... But all the rugs have been second hand from ebony until I'm sure he stopped growing or at the least wont out grow it! I'm stupidly excited, I saw these a while back and loved the colours.

Thank you!!! I'm sure everyone will be sick to death of me by the time the county show is over!! It's going to be an incredibly emotional day, I will be showing 10 days before the anniversary of Ebony being PTS... That's why it means so very much to me, plus its a year of continuous firsts for me and Ben... All I can say is I have visions of people having to lift me into the lorry to go home as I will be utterly exhausted :). I intend to enjoy every possible minute (well, every possible minute I'm not stressing!) :D

I gather you will floating around on adrenaline the whole day... Perhaps pack a wheelchair for home? :D:D

I will FC :) he's never worn travel boots/wraps... So I may have some video of him doing a duck waddle around the yard too!:D. We are showing locally next Saturday so at the very least I will put photos up then xx

Yes, adrenaline and after the show a few nips of vodka from my trusty hip flask lol x. I could actually go and steal a wheel chair from the hospital after the show! My dear mum is in having a hip replacement the same day! She is gutted to miss his grand day out :(

I love the headcollar! I have one of their exercise sheets and I love it. I think I might just have to get the whole set now :D

did you get it all online?

Yes I got it all online. A new livery at my yard has one and I loved it as much in the flesh as in the photos (hers is another colour though so that's ok:D)

I got it all from equestrian clearance, they also do tail guards and travel boots in matching colours, for the lead ropes search for equitheme headcollars and they are sold with under a listing for a different equitheme headcollar, if you click on the link you can select to just by the lead rope.

In all my years I've never done something so frivolous as buy an entire matchy kit like this :) I also love their saddle cloths and may go and get me one of those too!

Stop posting lovely stuff! You are making me sooooooooo jealous. I've just bought my grey her first saddle so I have no spare pennies for matchy. :(

They are only cheap... Well, cheap by matchy standards... Rug £28.99, saddle cloth £24.99 headcollar, about £14.99. Matchy on a budget :D

Yes, am kind of in agreement with you... I'm going to get what I need for the show, then get it... That is about as restrained as I can be:p

Thank you :). Next round of photos will be me in my outfit... Just got to get a shirt tomorrow and then I want to run it by everyone see what they think :)

Eeeeek!!! Practice run a week tomorrow and county show in 13 days!!! Whoop, whoop!!!!

Is it? It takes so much work, I wish I could take him down on Wednesday night but the box going that night is full, so If I want to go on Wednesday it would cost me two trips not one :( so getting there for 8am instead.

I simply love RCS :) really hope the weather is good
