He apparently dislocated his thumb prior to tonight's puissance at Olympia. I would have been crying like a baby. But he gets on what looks like a handful of horse, clears a 6ft 10in wall and wins class.
This is why I will never win the Olympics at show-jumping or any sport. I am a wuss.

I love him, I was cheering him on very loudly. I love when he jumped the red carpet!

I wouldn't have got on that horse under any circumstances, he looked bonkers! Massively talented though, and so pleased to see Ben go back out which I'm sure was for the crowd. Although I think the horse could have jumped the moon last night! Really enjoyable conclusion and I'm even more impressed having heard this!

Ben was fantastic last night, couldn't believe how well he sat some of those jumps! When the horse gave an absolutely massive jump over the wall he still managed to go with it and look so elegant!! I was rooting for him last night, he's so talented and I'm honoured to have been there so see him win gold in London
