Just wondering what oils everyone feeds.

At the moment I use soya oil but I know there are different ones that other people use.

What do you use and why?

I feed oil in the winter as it's great slow release energy and really helps keep the weight on.

I've fed soya and vegetable oil in the past, but find the easiest way to feed it is in the form of Dengie's Alpha A Oil because this contains the necessary vitamins etc for the oil to be digested for maximum benefit.

vegetable oil fed with vitamin E which helps slow release or energy when required and Vit E hleps digest this. studied at Uni. can give you all teh blurb f you want!?

Don't feed oil as my mare doesn't like it, feed black sunflower seeds instead which are high in oil in a different form (fats)

I feed linseed oil for my arthritic boy as its anti-inflammatory and he has a sensitive tummy, he absolutely loves the stuff and tries to chew the bottle...

I feed TopSpec Comp as a balancer which has high levels of vitamin E so luckily I dont have to feed any extra.
