Its like having a baby. He is waking me at 2, 3 and 5ish most nights. Not for food. Just running about, eating paper an jumping on my tv.

What can I do? He's in at night. I'd shut him in the kitchen but he can open the doors and would just bang around anyway...plus I don't like to.

Help a sleepy girl!

I think I'll play with him for a while tonight - even if he doesn't ask. I'm hoping it will tire him out.

Yawn.

Fun, aren't they :D

Ours is 10 now but in Summer she's still up to greet the birdies at about 4 - yesterday's wake-up call was crunching up a very juicy mouse by the bed ... then she had a snooze until about 5.30 when she decided it was time to nuzzle my hand to say it was breakfast time ...

Not much help to you, I'm afraid but in winter I do get more sleep ;)

Be even more fun when we get a new Bengal kitten in late July

My darlings were faced with 2 options- sleep in the kitchen at night, or a trip to the cat's protection! ;)

Seriously, it won't harm him to be in the kitchen, and you'll get some rest. Otherwise you may start resenting him.
I second turning the handles upside down, or fit a small bolt high up.

Mine can be the same and he's a moggie! He just likes alot of attention ;-) He goes through phases of being a pain though!

Biggest thing I've found that helps is plugging a feliway diffuser in and making sure my OH is at home :) as he's much better if his dad is here xx
