Horsey folk in the Chelmsford/Ongar/Lavers area of Essex, I really need your help! Please, does anyone recognise Benji? 15.3hh chestnut gelding, white blaze, TBx type, 13 years old, cribs, well schooled. I KNOW people out there know him and I really need information on his previous owners to help me track down the passport authority he was a registered with! Understand he was owned by someone who thought he’d been sold to a riding school in North London – wrong …he went to a dealer whose mother has a riding school in Pimlico, Hemel Hempstead but he was sold on from there. If anyone can help, I’d be so grateful…..! I can supply photos to anyone who is unsure about whether they know him. Trading Standards are involved and have so far proved useless. They suggested a couple of months ago that I put notices in feed shops in the Chelmsford area, but as now things are getting desperate, I thought I'd try the forum. Thanks!
 
I'm sorry that I can't help, but suggest that you ask Ingatestone Saddlery to put something up on their notice board. Almost everyone around here goes in there for some reason or other and it might get you some info, if not then try the local riding clubs, theres ingatestone and Blackmore (http://www.ibrc-online.co.uk/) or Braintree (http://www.braintreeridingclub.co.uk/)

Also perhaps try a couple of the pony clubs in the area - I think Essex Farmers and Essex Hunt North are a couple, try googling them for websites.

Crown Corner feedstore is on the way to Ongar so maybe try the noticeboard there too - although as above, everyone goes to Ingatestone so someone's bound to see it in there.
Also Writtle College's noticeboard?
