Benzol bensoate

I normally buy mine from hyperdrug but found some cheaper and it arrived this morning. However it is different from what I normally get, this is clear not white. Says 99.9 pharma grade Anyone know if is still OK to use .

DO NOT APPLY THIS TO YOUR HORSE!!!!
I assume you have purchased from Ebay or similar. This is almost pure (99.9%) Benzyl Benzoate as opposed to the hyperdrug solution which is only a fraction of this (I can't recall but I anticipate something in the region of 5-10% - it should state on the bottle).
It could theoretically be mixed in a carrier lotion to the required strength but unless you are a professional chemist and understand the potential chemical interaction of the materials I would strongly advise against this.
Sorry to be the harbinger of doom but there could be some nasty side effects to your horse if used in this way.
