Ber found guilty of cruelty and neglect

I already posted it, lets hope the pair of them get long sentences and banned from keeping horses for life.
 
Here's what I do not understand about such cases...that the people involved always seem to claim that they are horse 'lovers' and 'rescuers' and never ever seem to take responsibility for their cruelty and neglect. I do not understand the mentality behind such denial, unless there is some kind of specific mental health condition behind it, in which case, all the more reason to act and separate owner from animals in their care before tragedies happen...so sad...:confused::confused::confused::(:(:(
