Hi all - does anyone have much experience of Beris bits? Its been recommended I try a Beris ported kimblewick but I hadn't heard of Beris before! They appear to be similar to Nathe. Are they very thick? My chap has fleshy lips so doesnt like big rubber bits! Is there much difference between this and a Nathe Butterfly flip (apart from cost!)?

Any help/advice would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

I've just bought a Beris Pelham and really am pleased with it. Its just like Nathe used to be ...

Apparently the guy who used to work for Nathe left up and set up Beris on his own.

The Beris bit I've got is a soft one and it really is soft and flexible, without any rough edges. Its not especially thick. The idea of the Pelham is that you get the leverage but without the harshness of even a normal rubber Pelham.

I was looking at these earlier in the year before comiting to one and found that they are a little thicker than a Nathe and possibly not quite as soft. That said there really isnt much in it and definately thiner than a normal rubber bit. I went for a Nathe in the end as i wanted a little more room for his tongue than a straight Beris would offer but didnt want a port as i didnt think he needed it, turned out he did :rolleyes3:
