The Berkshire Millions weekend starts today with three days of jump racing at Windsor - I had planned to go but unfortunately life has got in the way again!

Caldwell Potter goes in the Grade 2 novice chase shortly.

Tomorrow we also have the Clarence House at Ascot, headlined by Jonbon and Energumene plus Edwardstone and Boothill.

Haydock has the Peter Marsh with Royale Pagaille 🩷💚 going up against Welsh National winner Mr Vango.

I was about to post as well! Interested to see Caldwell Potter, that is an interesting race. I do like Royale Pagaille, he just has something about him and two million pound plus winners in the Clarence House.

My normally very hard headed mum has just declared loyalty for You Wear It Well in the novices, by dint of it being a song by her favourite singer!

Worse ways to pick a horse I guess.

Watching the Veterans is a joy. And most of them know their job and just get on with it as well.
Lovely finish with two very brave horses.

I have always liked Sam Brown, just looked and he is 13 now. He had a little spell of not completing but seems to have bounced back to super runs.

Sad to see Remastered seeming to hate racing now. I always used to follow him.

His form has really tailed off and perhaps at 12 it's time to retire?

Can’t help but think they’re going to run him again without the blinkers this time.

First time blinkers clearly made no difference and it’s interesting they went straight for the blinkers not a visor or cp first.

Hopefully they will retire him soon.

I’m the founder member. I’m so shallow… it’s all about looks 😆

And why not, he looks like a fairy tale pony.

I didn’t know until they mentioned it today, he’s a grandson of Double Trigger who I remember well. Beautiful light chestnut with light mane, a very handsome horse and one of the best flat stayers going - I think the blood stayed true for this one!
