Looking to buy a set of boots (likely brushing boots) for day to day schooling and hacking - horse has white hair on his legs from where previous boots scarred him and previous owner said he is sensitive to boots rubbing.

Any recommendations?

Yes plan to use them too but would like something with a bit of reinforcement for hacking etc, he's still a baby and is quite expressive, I want to protect him from knocks where possible.

I think I would either go for wool lined, such as NEW (New Equine Wear) or alternatively lightweight breatheable such as Equilibrium.

You could always use bandage pads under bandages for extra protection, rather than just polo bangades?

Has he knocked himself before? Does he really need them?

He's quite expressive in his paces and can be boisterous so I would rather have the boots on than not. I've always put basic brushing/tendon boots on when schooling just to be safe anyway.

Red-1 that's a good idea I will try that
