Best automatic troughs

I’ve got to buy two new troughs for my fields but there are so many I don’t know which to pick. Essential criteria is that they’re plastic and easy to clean. I’d rather a smaller volume purely as there will be fresh water more regularly.

Any recommendations?

Can I chip in and also ask about pipework and fittings that resist frost?

I bought my water troughs from here about 20 years ago, still going strong and look great,
not really sure what make I bought but very easy to empty and if I have a little bit of water left in the bottom
just an easy welly lift makes short work of it all

We use the Paxton Water Troughs and stable drinkers fitting each one with a stopcock so that we can switch off the water supply to each one to clean them.
We use Philmac 20mm and 25mm plastic fittings as these stand up well and are easy to fit.

I have a 12 gallon one the same as in the link further up. I bought it from Mole Valley a couple of years ago.

I empty it out once a week or when it looks dirty which is easy as it’s small enough to tip. I just have a normal hosepipe to it.
