best bargain ever????

My little companion was a bargain - I paid £100 - but that included having him gelded for me and delivered to his field. Diesel cost would have been more than £100 to deliver him. He's a star - happy to be left alone if other horses are taken away (even over night when we went to futurity) and is ready to be backed next year.

I also bought a set of "jumping boots" from ebay. No photo and the description was just that - "4 jumping boots. black." Took a chance, paid about a fiver including psotage and was send a brand new set of black leather mark todd tendon and fetlock boots that retail at £90
 
A brand new Barnsby Xtreem saddle complete with labels, retails in excess of £2k for £500, and a doe skin and buffalo hide close contact saddle brand new, rrp of £1800 for £450, plus they were a perfect fit for the horses they were intended for:) I love ebay at times but it can encourage you to buy things you dont really need:p
 
Well if anyone wants to sell me a bargain i'll take it cause it seems I never get one :-( i'm usually chuffed if I save £5 on stuff never mind getting a horse for that price! Altho if I got them at that price i'd have way too many lol i'm a sucker for a sad story or cute face! Keep your bargains coming loving the fact that not everyone gets ripped off!
 
My albion jumping saddle on ebay which fits the horse and despite being quite old is in really good condition :) Wasn't a major bargain, but IMO soo worth buying it!! Much better than the 30+yr old hard leather gp i had ;) And to be sentimental, my little pony who was my first and taught me a lot and became a best friend :o
 
A few years back I got a BN pair of wellies (still attached together) from a charity shop,they had never been worn payed £2.00 for those and still wearing them.Last year I got a winter turnout rug,Brand new,never worn,original price of £67.50 was still on it and I got it for £20.00
but hes pulled one surcingle off it,so now fixing it.Got that from Ebay. The same rug now costs 89.99.(only difference is the colour).
 
Also I got a brand new pair of full zip, leather lined Chemaeu boots for £80 :D

Someone was selling off stock and luckily I have very small feet ;)
