I currently keep Pete on Bedmax. He has a concrete floor and I muck out fully every day and he has a full bed, I dont deep litter. I was wondering if there was a cheaper bedding (aside from straw as he coughs badly on anything dusty!) that I could use as I use 8 bedmax a month in winter and 5/6 in summer so it costs quite a lot. However, bedmax is nice bedding so if theres nothing cheaper I will just stick with it. I am in Surrey area. Ideally, it needs to be sold by fosburys!

They make bedding out of recycled egg boxes so is ultra absorbant, although you dont have to remove the wet everyday as it drys out unlike shavings. It is completly dust free and they also do a eucalyptus version for those with breathing problems. Ive just emailed them for prices and I have been told they deliver a minimum of 36 bales (20kg/100ltrs) £205. Obviousley if you ordered more then that cost will come down. Im not sure where you are based in surrey but Im near petersfield in hampshire and this was my quote. It may be cheaper if you are nearer to them. Would be a good price if you could get a few others to buy some too. You can also collect from them at £4 a bale.
Ive got a sample coming to have a look at them could be worth you getting one too before you dismiss them?
