Best bedding to put in horsebox?

Hiya, just wondered what people use/recommend to use in a horsebox to soak up wee/poo?
When my mare poos in the box she end up sliding and falling all over, so I thought some bedding just where she poos would help?
my friend suggested shavings but I thought it might blow around? Or bedmax shavings?

our transporter/YO uses shavings (id go for snowflake as i think its its more absorbant) It stays where it is supposed to be, and does the job. they literally put a small pile (about 2ft squared per horse) at the one end where the horse will be pooing etc.

the ifor williams guy who services our box recommends straw over shavings. he says shavings work their way down the sides and mess up the rubber mats etc. they are get jammed into tiny cracks along the walls
