THERE ARE SO MANY! hahaha xx i would like a powder, fairly inexpensive, but effective for all hoof types :)

I know of:
-NAf pro feet
-global herbs supa hoof
-obviously lincoln :)
-farriers formula (but id rather not buy a feed :/ )
-hoof power

anyone had good results with these or any other?
i need to have one thats fairly easy to get hold off, from most tackshops and
things.
lincoln reviews would be great to xx
Thanks :)

p.s also use KBs daily, and feet are very overly soft at the mo

Most horses will be fine if they have a full mineral and vitamin supply, so that is your first port of call, then the barefoot diet needs to be considered, hi fibre lo sugar, and no cereals.
You can feed Fast fibre for vits and mins, and add some biotin, but this may not be required.
Equimins also make a good supplement [Advance], as well as micronised linseed, they tend to favour forage plus vits and mins school of diet.
You can email for advice.
The evidence for adding biotin seems to be based on some rather dubious research. Biotin is biotin, just as salt is salt, you need to check on the active ingredient ie cost per gram of biotin.

wait hang on a sec...haha
if hes getting a vit and min...surely he wont need the biotin?
just realised hha..it should contain it right? its the equivite one. stupid moment. we havent fed them for that long so maybe thats whytheres no difference yet?
(also he has shoes BTW)
ive started feedin biotin as his feet are fairly weak...and has just lost a shoe :( x

If your happy with his weight I would carry on with the fast fibre and use equimins advance complete.
Biotin on it's own is not worth it. A good general supplement like equimins is best. Good hoofs is not just about biotin like people seem to think
