Hi folks, never been on a forum before so apologies if I've done this all wrong..... I have a 2yr old that I've just started bitting... Not using the bit at all just popping it in her mouth while we are out walking on a head collar.... she was checked by the dentist a few weeks ago and she has two wolf teeth just behind her normal teeth...they haven't quite come up but the dentist was happy for me to bit her...I use a flexi rubber bit at the mo.... But it seems very big in her mouth... What would folks generally use that is kind on a babies mouth.. Dentist is checking her in 4mths to check her wolf teeth re removal etc...you may say why bit her at 2.. Reason being is we have no hacking near us without alot of road work so a bit is needed for her training on the roads which she is doing fab with.. But she can be very wilful and bolshy.. So want a bit just incase I need it, plus insurance purposes... She loves her training and work and gets extremely bored if she's not doing something... Shes Defo not a stable pony or field lout lol...any suggestions /advice would be very much appreciated ty

A nathe bit is ideal for horses with wolf teeth coming through. It is very soft and comes in a variety of sizes. Due to its softness, how long it lasts depends on how much your youngster chews and plays with the bit.
I used this on my 4 year old before and after he got his wolf teeth removed (on vet advice) to allow for healing. Hope this helps. The KK bit is also a good bit i find although i dont think you will need this at the moment for a 2 yr old.xx
