I am taking my 5yr old to our first dressage clinic tomorrow (it's at a yard literally next door to mine, so we don't need to worry about travelling) but I was wondering what sorts of boots I should pop on him. At the moment I'm thinking brushing and over-reach on the fronts, but I don't have any boots for his hind legs yet as they've been held up in the post, as well as my fetlock boots. I do also own a pair of tendon boots, but since he's built muscle they're a bit too tight for him.

I want to put boots on as he can be clumsy and a bit distracted when doing flatwork in the arena, and I wince every time I hear him hit his hoof when I'm riding so I usually ride with at least over-reach boots on to stop him pulling ANOTHER shoe off! Any tips would be appreciated, thanks :)
