Trying to decide what bridle to get for my fussy mare!
Have established that padded comfort headpieces don't make much difference to her as long as they curve around her ears (currently in a sd design bridle)
However, she was in a drop but she was being too feisty at grabbing the bit and was being very strong. So my instructor recommended going to a flash. Have never been a big fan of a flash noseband due to all the bad research done on them giving pressure points etc. However, she has been a lot better at not grabbing the bit and being chompy and strong since being in one.
We have experimented with different bits and have now found her better in a revolving hanging cheek (I want to try it in a normal D ring as well.)
So Now I am considering a different noseband which could be the best of both worlds.
Considering:
Ps of Sweden jump off
ps of Sweden high jump
Fairfax noseband (the drop version)
I have been scouring the internet for reviews but struggling to find any on how they have affected horses way of going rather than just reviews on quality of leather etc.
