As title really. I need a new bridle, as need him to look all shiny (but not too spangly) to be my 6th bridesmaid next year - plus I've have my £20 bridle for 6 years now

I would love an albion - and am I right in thinking sale starts tomorrow? Something like this i like, but without the sparkly bits

I'm not set on an albion though - are there any other good makes out there?

Anyway, what do you think of his face - and which bridle would be good. Has to be black, as think that looks best on him :)

But he's a showjumper! :p

What's a show hunter bridle like - is that with a flat noseband and browband? Don't know if he'd look a bit plain in that :)

Yes a flatter noseband and i would go a little thicker than the one you have on now :) And nooo you cant ever make a pretty grey horse look plain !!! :)

It doesnt need to be huge !!!:) just flatter and bigger than it is :) also he doesnt need to see a hunting field to wear one they are used quite widely !!

I think you should aim for a thicker/chunkier noseband that you have how.
Look for raised, padded cavessons of at least 1" diameter, he could probably even carry off 1 1/2". The Sabre Cordoba is a lovely bridle.

I just bought mine a sabre cordoba. It really suits him and is so so soft! even softer than the elevator bridle my mare has! yet cheaper :P very impressed!
Mine has quite a fine yet defined face (he is half welsh with tb tho so really fine)
My tb mare with very small delicate face has the elevator which she looks stunning in as well :)

Having dressed my chums horse for her wedding, my thicker cheeked, plain bridle with a lovely sparkly swarovski browband.

He looked great, and had matching roses to those of the other bridesmaids plaited into his mane.

V-shaped? That opens up a whole can of worms! :p

I don't like the double raised Kate negus that just looks weird imho (along with the mouth!). I should have mentioned at the start that I'm really looking for a padded comfort bridle type and those look like they'll fit the bill.

Have to say, I still think albion might be a goer, then it will match his saddle :)
