Hello - could anyone let me know if there are any brands of bridles that come up big on the noseband?

I have an irish sports horse with a big irish head on him - his Full size bridle fits everywhere but the noseband and and XFull is too large on the cheek pieces etc and doesn't fit. Current bridle is the derby house comfort flash bridle (which i love!) but I'm having to ride him in a grackle noseband due to this problem - this is fine for now but I'm hoping to do some dressage on him and need a bridle that is dressage legal.

Long shot - but does anyone have the same problem and know of a make that comes up quite big in the FULL size bridle so that his big nose will fit but also the cheek pieces will fit etc.

Many thanks!

Hi, I have a sabre Cordoba bridle on an ish with a big head and nose band is on next to tightest hole. So they seem to be fairly big. It is a lovely bridle too. I struggle with brow bands for her and have found that John Whittaker ones fit really well so don't know if their bridles are big too.

I'm afraid any I buy have to be in bits, my gorgeous irish mare takes the following - x-full noseband and browband, full headpiece and cob cheekpieces - just can't get it off the peg!! Jefferies are good at making up what you want from the bits you need, as are barnsby.

really helpful people. I met them at HOYS and she spent half an hour putting a bridle together for me to fit my girl exactly! It is a really lovely bridle, I'm so pleased with it. The prices are also ridiculously reasonable!!! I'd have paid double!!!!!!!
