Hi, I’ve recently bought a new horse who needs new tack but I’m very fussy with bridles 😂

Looking for recommendations for good quality English leather bridles with a budget of £250 for the right bridle.

I previously bought a PS of Sweden bridle for my other horse but I found that for the money it was the leather wasn’t great considering I look after my tack and clean after every ride.

I normally stick with classic style bridles but I do like the look of bridles with a single head piece, but really just looking for any good recommendations

Many thanks!

I've just bought a Henry James bridle and am very pleased with it. You can buy each bit individually too. The leather is lovely and soft and has that lovely smell !
and I love the cut back headpieces and the way the noseband fits without the strap going over the poll.

No worries. I’m sure you won’t be disappointed. I came across them on here too and have ended up buying a bridle and reins. I was actually looking for the wide stirrup leathers but they’re currently out of stock.

I have elderly, but beautiful Stubben and Sabre bridles which have stood the test of time, but my newest bridle, which is probably 12 years old, is the Elevator. The leather is absolutely gorgeous. They do come up slightly small though.
