So in regards to my previous post about amigo bridles, what other ones do people recommend? i have a sabre one which i love but i do fancy a stubben one, its for my highland x. I had john whitaker one and it fell to bits! so any suggestions which is best?

I've recently bought a stubben one for one of mine and I really like it

I have a Jeffries, and it's brilliant, cleans up like new everytime and so supple. I also clicked 'others' because Fylde make bridles just as good as Jeffries, but much cheaper. They will make to measure as well.

I love Stubben bridles but cannot afford them. I have a nice Heritage comfort bridle which I like, English leather and fits Genie beautifully.

I love my Kieffer bridle - unfortunately it's way too big for my new horse so it's just sitting looking pretty in my lounge!!

Most of the bridles I use aren't branded/have some obscure brand I haven't heard of before, but I've recently come across Albion and Passier bridles which were both lovely. I wasn't overly taken with the one Elevator I've seen/used (just didn't feel or look as nice as the others), and the Jeffries padded one I've seen/used is nice apart from the square raised bit as I don't think it looks particularly attractive! It's good quality though.

Snaffle: an Albion KB, which is fantastic.
Double: the Elevator without the throatlash, equally fantastic.

My youngster has an old Kieffer, it's 5 years old now but still in perfect condition (only part that needed replacing was the browband...perfect excuse to buy some bling)
