Hi there,
I am looking for a calmer for my ned that I can put in his very small feed just for the one daily feed that he has, he doesn't need 2 feeds a day!

Any suggestions? Thank you in advance! (Can't reply later on as going out!)

Think I may be trying this next, using nupafeed now but he hates it and its too expensive to be wasted and spat out!!
Out of interest, I read that some horses go do lally when they first come off Relax me, have you tried coming off it?

I know when he has not had it for a couple of days as he goes straight back to himself lively not and worse than before I started using it- does that answer "gonig do lally

I use Horse First Relax Me and I feed once a day in evening feeds really rate it too

That is good, as I have read very good reports of Horse first relax me and wanted to try it but was worried that it said it had to be given twice a day for the first week.

Where did you get yours ? I would have to buy it online as there are no local stockists.

I get mine from ebay normally derby house do it. I normally search around and see who is cheepest if you go to badminton might be worth seeing if they are having a stall there

I have been using the Net Tex Carl Hester Pro Mag Calmer Powder for about 4 months with realy good results.I just use one scoop in his evening feed he's 15.1 and this seems to work - I ran out at xmas and i realy noticed a differance in him so i'm sure it helps to take the edge of him.I decided to try him on NAF Magic as this has been recomended to me he's been on it now for 2 weeks and tbh i'm convinced it's made him go daft! he acted realy odd for the first week but i wasn't sure if it was the spring grass comeing through- I'm going to use the rest of my tub and then i'm putting him straight back onthe the Carl Hester one. And its cheaper too!

Try magnitude. Costs around £19 for a 6 months supply. You just put one tiny spoonful in the feed daily. Works on my 6 year old hot PRE.

I've had Lil on magnitude for amonth now but it hasn't worked so I'm going to swap her onto Relax Me as I know someone that has had good results on it. I think diff calmers work for diff horses depending on what imbalance they have thats causing them to be a loon. My understanding is that you only have to feed it twice a day for the first week and then once a day after that.
