Hi all, I'm looking for recommendations for brands of calming drops / spray to help my dog over firework season.

Has anyone had any success with these?

They tend to go on for weeks around here so I'm not keen to use anything stronger from the vet for an extended period

I tried the dap defuser and the collar, didn't work. Zyklene (recommended on here) works well for her but isn't cheap. Vet says its fine for prolonged use though even though the box says short term issues, so she's on that now till new year and topped up with meds from vet for bonfire night, following Saturday and new years eve.

I’ve just ordered some Zyklene for my dog, we’re going to a holiday cottage in Devon and she needs to be on best behaviour (reactive to dogs), she’ll be great in the house and dogs aren’t allowed off lead onsite (apart from the 5 acre field which we’ll avoid) so no one should come near her, but I’d rather she was on best behaviour. I’ve also got one stronger sedative left over from our elderly dog with cognitive decline just in case.

Should arrive Wednesday so I can start dosing her!
