My god, how sad am I for remembering all these...

I had Julips - before they became mail order only, their shop was in my local town, and as well as being able to choose from all sorts of breeds, you could also bring in a photo of your own pony, and they would hand paint one of their models as an exact match - brilliant!
I kept all my Julip ponies, people, dogs, gypsy caravan, pony trap etc, and my daughter plays with them now.

I put other as you havent listed Anna and Happytime!!!!

It was brill, you could pose the horse and thanks to a little foot plate with studs on you could impale the horses hooves (thinking fractured pedal bones here) and make him rear, jump, buck (with difficulty) and all sorts.

Only downside is that he had a bit of a weak neck and his head therefore had to be held up with bluetack - kind of spoilt the whole appearance to be honest

God I used to have loads of my beautiful horses (used to get the magazine every week

), I'd spend ages trimming them and covering them in tippex to give them markings

Ah it had to be my rocking horse on springs i used to ride that thing like there was no tomorrow.Then my brother got the hump because i wouldn let him ride it unless i was steering it and when he jumped on the back it snapped off its springs mum and dad went nuts!!!!!!!!

I used to have a very vast collection of my beautiful horses...i also used to always buy the magazine! I used to either plait the mane or 'hog' them! used to have hours of fun- making stables out of shoe boxs, sock jumps and in summer make fields out of grass cuttings for them! But i often used to leave them on the floor so we had to have a lot of life saving leg surgery!
I also used to have julip- bob the cob

Have a few breyer collectables now but they're in storage

breyers are the nicest, but so expensive!!! (and they break really easily too

)

i always had the big suedey ones (i think they're called flocked, and were made by Chestnut hill or Chestnut ranch or something) because they were really cheap, and you could get them anywhere! plus all the fancy breyer rugs ect fitted them...

Julip!!! Ive sold alot of the older ones, they are very good in times of financial difficulty. I sent one from ebay which I knew was heading to someones daughter and I wrote a note asking if she could give the horse a name as I never did, felt all teary....

Only had a Sindy out of all that list! I still have mine, it was my 5th birthday present, I'm now 39 I've never seen another the same, he (I called him Scotland, I was very young!) has white eyes more like a human shape, nylon mane and tail and one forefoot with just the tip on the ground. I still have him, he's on the spare room cupboard scaring guests!

I love Britains farm animals and I had bags of them when I was little. I also had a palomino Sindy horse which had moveable legs, a bay Sindy horse with a moveable neck and the black and grey Barbie horses - did any of them have names?

Plus My Little Pony - can't remember which ones. I only ever had one Julip which I won in a Horse and Pony magazine competition.
