any recommendations? not looking to spend an awful lot...

need to get clipper scared horse more used to them, so we can get his yak coat of in winter with out anyone getting damaged!

I've got lister liberty. Cant fault them, although I wish I could blame the tools because sometimes it's (I'm) not very neat.

I bought a cordless one that said it was quiet and would last for 50 minutes - long enough to clip a nervous horse. They lied

I bought Lister Showmans 2nd hand on ebay for £100 and had them serviced and price included five sets of blades too.
Superb clippers but I think the Lister Liberty is the latest model.
Previous Lister Showmans owned about 12 years and were still going strong when last seen. So for me Lister are tops.
I also have a fabulous little set of Hummingbird clippers (also bought off Ebay), but new, and they are really excellent for trimming round head and ears and were only about £25.00 comes with two sets of blades as well.

I have the Wahl Avalon cordless ones, they are great and as long as you charge your battery properly they do last long enough to do a full clip.
They are also very light and quiet. I also like the cordless idea as there is no cable to trip over!!!
