Sorry I know this topic has been done to death but I am saving up to buy some and was wondering which ones are the best for around £200. Horse doesnt mind body getting done but wont let you near head or ears. So looking for ones that are quiet and have little vibration.
Thanks for your help guys.

My daughter and her friend recently got themselves some (second hand) Liveryman clippers on ebay, they seem pretty pleased with them

liveryman harmony are great but may struggle with a coarse coat. I have a pair and was fab for my wimpy horse. I also have Lister star which have been fab. Get thru my hairys coat and feathers fine. Are light and very quiet .

another vote for lister star :) ! bought some as my first time clippers, never done it before and produced a fab looking clip. i got a kit for £228 which included £90 legato trimmers from mole valley farm, included 2 oil bottles, two brushes and other things I forgot

Thanks guys. Have been looking at the ones you have mentioned and like both.
I kindly told my OH that I want a set for xmas so everyone can club together and buy me a set of the lister star ones. Went to local tack shop and they had a set and I liked the feel etc of them. Poor pony is not going to like me. haha. But I'm not borrowing a set at £20 a go to clip my pony.

Lister Liberty clippers - very easy to use, quiet and one of my horses who is a real wuss about many things stands there like a dobbin to be clipped with these.
