I am planning on starting a small livery yard (around 10-15 horses/ponies).

Was just wondering if anyone has any recommendations of companies to build a menage/stables. I have had a look at chart timber buildings and cheval liberte although have heard some bad things about both of them although I am now put off from cheval liberte due to some reviews on here actually.

Anyone got any feedback or reviews that has had a yard and menage built recently or knows someone that has?

Will probs build a block of 10/12 stables and a standard 20 x 40 menage or something similar.

Thanks!

Withington Hill Stables Excel range (their premium brand). I have an L shaped block of 4 Excel stables (12' x 14' to 12' x 18') plus two 8' x12' feed and rug rooms. I also have two Excel field shelters. They are good, sturdy, airy and bright buildings, installed in the last 3 to 8 years. I've dealt with Withington Hill for nearly 30 years and their products are smart, robust and long lasting, and the team are very helpful. Visitors always admire the yard, and expect it to have been built by one of the posher names :).

Charles Britton built our arena, can thoroughly recommend them too.

I had a small yard built by Oakley Stables last summer and I am really pleased with them and my arena was done by Kenward Construction and I was particularly pleased with their aftercare when I had an issue with it.
