I have two dogs, a labx who is 12 and a lurcher who is 8/9. For years they have been fed and done well on Chudleys Working Crunch however now they are getting on I’m thinking they might need more? My labx has arthritis and is on a constant diet! The lurcher seems to have dropped a little weight (not a worrying amount) the last few months and does appear to be slowing up slightly. Can anyone recommend a good diet please?

I have recently discovered Clabbered milk for my boys, they get about half a pint a week brilliant stuff. Just keeps them nicely covered.

Get a 2-4pint whole milk (raw is better if you can get it). Take about a cups worth out for your own use.
Keep it in warm place, shake 2-3 times a day. I dont have central heating so it took about a week to go. But my friend left hers by the aga and it was done in 48hrs. When its thick and yoghurt like with a cheesy smell its ready. Helped Teal when he lost some weight due to lungworm. He came up lovely on it.

My old lab used to have vitalin gold for weight gain as well, mixed with goats milk/ sardines in tommy sauce. But I would mix with with clabbered milk now.
