Hi - currently feeding my TB mare top spec cool condition cubes (1 stubbs scoop per feed), top spec joint balancer, 100g of micronised linseed and a few handfuls grass chaff. 2 of these feeds per day and she's in moderate work. Ok at the moment but don't want her to drop any as it's gets colder. Are there better cubes than top spec? don't want to feed a mix as it will probably blow her brain cells!

Bailey's Conditioning Cubes? I fed them for my mare, personally I found Cool Mix much much better but what works for one horse won't work for another. :)

How much linseed is safe to feed per day? Charnwood milling recommends 200g per day for large horse so I'm feeding that now.

I have tried calm and condition and Baileys and neither worked. Switched to Spillers (only because the feed shop changed suppliers) and the weight piled on. I think each horse reacts differently to each brand. Last year I tried linseed with excellent results, this year it doesn't seem to be making any difference at all?
