new yard has no electric so need to get some cordless clippers. reasonable budget, but not OTT. only have one horse so dont need anything mega, but he does grow an impressive woolly mammoth coat so will need something with guts to get through it. i dont clip his legs or hog though so doesn't need to be powerful enough for that. any recommendations?

Liter Showman, the come with a battery pack and mains adaptor, battery lasts for about 2 1/2 - 3hrs.
The clippers are light and easy to use and are very quiet too

I'm not sure how much they cost but think they are a little pricey

Ive got the Moser Avalons. They are made by Wahl, and come with a battery pack and i find they clip my tribe well. I also hog one of mine and they are powerful enough to cope. They do not heat up and the battery lasts for ages. I find they are exceptionally quiet and a lot lighter than my previous heinigers!!

The Lister showmans have been updated and are now called the Lister Liberty. The battery pack and the handpiece have been made smaller and lighter but still just as powerful. They are an excellent bit of kit. Has enough power to do the thickest of coats.
