Im looking to purchase a new set of clippers, i currently have Avalons & there 5 years old at least.
The problem with them is it's taking ages to do a good clip & the blades are forever knackering on them.

So im looking for cordless again but something thats more robust any reviews???

Im looking at the Lister Liberty any good???

Well, I have Avalons and it takes me about 45 minutes to do a full clip... they are 3 years old. Admittedly the blades don't last very long.
Would be interested in more long lasting options myself.

I also have the avalons but they weren't powerful enough to do my boys very thick coat and the clip that the blades slip into has broken so I need to get them repaired and sell them!

Lister liberty are fab. In their 3rd yr & I clip 2 horses throughout the winter and one through the summer. I must add I never clean them & no probs so far.

I have the lister liberty cordless clippers aswell. Mine's have lasted brilliantly. I've had them since they came out 4 or 5 years ago and use them 2 clip other peoples horses aswell as my own. My battery doesn't last quite as long now if i'm doing a thick coat but i'm still getting about 3 hours at a time with it. Over the winter i can be clipping 2 or more times a week and once or twice over the summer so they've been used loads. Quite good on blades aswell :)
