Ive been reading about horse camp and would love to do it.
But I cant see anywhere where is says about what you actually do with your horse! Have you been before? What do they do?

You choose 2 out of the 3 discplines (DR, SJ or XC) and then you do 2 lessons a day in what you've chosen

So for example SJ/gridwork morning and XC afternoon. The timetable is the same for each day (that's on the 2 and 3 day camps - I've never done a 1 day).

There is a huge range of riders, from people getting confidence over trotting poles to budding eventers (the eventing lot scoffed at us the first year, but they've caught onto the fact it's far from silly pony club camp!)

Some people do just do dressage as the arena's are so lovely it's still worth it.

The itinerary (for a 2 day camp) arrive Friday afternoon, the horses can go into their stables at 6pm. So put beds down, chuck horses in

sort out your own sleeping arrangements and start getting drunk!!

the group who get the 9 oclock XC lesson on the first morning is always the boobie prize!

We're doing the April 3 day camp this year.

Wow, its sounds brilliant. Might have to think about going then, just dont know if I can do the long drive again! Im soooo tired today after a 4 hour drive back last night, plus we got lost, FINALLY got back to the yard about 10pm!!

I read something about the farm ride not being inlcuding in the camp? Thats a shame, coz it looks really nice.
