A few years ago I used No Bute Premium, which was brilliant. The ingredients also contained MSM, vitamin C and glucosamine.
However, I'm looking for recommendations for other devil claws products as my 15 year old is already on cosequin which contains MSM and glucosamine.

So can anyone recommend any other products that have given them great results? I've been looking at Zerobute by Feedmark, Naffs Devils Relief and D&H Devils claw root.

Any feed back would be greatly appreciated.

My boy has mild DJD in his right hock, this was injected 12 months ago and is due to be re injected next week. He is semi retired and now only hacks a few times a week at walk. He loves his new job of nannying the babies out for their first hacks, so I want him to be happy and as comfortable as can be :)

Thanks

Hi BeepaStar,
I have not tried all of those you mentioned except NoBute which had no affect on my old horses joints.
NAF Devils Relief however appeared to make him more comfortable. His movements were markedly improved.
Hope you soon find something that suits your horse.
Teg :)

I have used a few of the above with some small improvement. Just started horse on bespoke product from hack up and so far so good. Even managed to take him off his bute and he is hacking out like nothing wrong with him :)

No Buteand Naf Devils claw don't help my elderly boy, I use James Hart Devils Claw Flex. It's imported by equus Health from NZ and is a strong tincture 2:1, I rate it highly.

Another vote for JH Devils Claw Flex - it's not the cheapest on the market to buy, but as the tincture is strong I end up needing to feed less. It's made a massive difference to my arthritic horse :)

Hi Spot the Risk, thanks for the recommendation, I like the sound of this after researching it so I'll probably give it a go :)

Thanks Skint1, I've just googled this and although it looks great, I'm already using Cosequin and a lot of the ingredients double up, but it's worth remembering as I could always try this product in the future rather than using 2 separate supplements :)

Hi mudmonkey17, I've tried the hackup bespoke AI/Joint supplement and unfortunately it didn't work for my lad, I had to put him back on cosequin after a month. I was quite disappointed as Cosequin is so expensive...!
