i have owned both a poodle & a bedlington - neither breed shed & both can have non-poncey hair cuts & both breed societies do rescues so you can have a non-shedder & help a dog who needs re-homing:)

My friend has a fox terrier and it is the only dog I have ever met that I am not allergic to. Realised with delight that I had been sat with him on my knee all night stroking him and had not sneezed once which was pretty amazing! Given me hope that I can have a dog once in the right house.

I am also allergic and have a Lakeland Terrier. He is the most lovely little dog and does not cast. However, make sure you look at the KC ones as working lakelands are completely different and do tend to shed. Working Lakelands are 10 a penny and KC ones like rocky horse s**t to find but well worth it. Also another recommendation for the Mini Schnauzer they are fabulous pets.

Your bitch sounds delightful and I know you are excited but 1yo is far too young to be breeding from her, sorry, she is still only a baby herself. Most reputable breeders wait until at least 24 months.

I second a Schnauzer, and like poodles, come in three sizes :D
Or check out a rescue. Many Tears have loads of Schnauzers, Westies, Bichons etc.

Hi
Boxers due to having only one layer of coat are actually great hyperallergenic dogs as its normally the second coat and the dander that causes the issues. The also are great dogs around horses & kids i you can put up with the slight bouncyness
