Can anyone recommend a really good facemask?

I bought one for C a while ago however I keep finding it in the field and not on her face.

I've got the shires one with ears and nose. Its never once fallen off and only attaches with velcro under the jaw.

I use the Cashel Crusader ones. They do them in loads of different sizes (arab, cob, warmblood etc) so the fit is usually really comfortable. and you can get them with/without ears and nose bits.
They arent the cheapest on the market but i would say they are good quality.

The cashel ones are great, but premier equine do a good copy for a lot cheaper. I did find the sizes came out a bit big though...

equilibrium midi are good - I have used them for a few years and never had one come off.
I also have a rambo one which is huge so I had to get busy with stick velcro to make it fit.

I now will only buy the cashel crusaders - for me the most important factor is UV protection which they provide. Cairo wears his whenever he is out, come rain or shine - only one eye and suffers from cancer.

They come in many sizes, do not rub. Chancer's is on his second year - and it is still in perfect condition, and this is on a youngster. Cairo's is three years old, has an lot of use and again has no signs of major wear and tear.

I personally like the version with ears and nose protection - no having to put on sun cream and my boys have very large pink noses.

If you want UV ptotection either the Cashel or Guardian are equally as good as each other. The Guardian is the one to go for if you have eye sensitivity problems, basically it has built in sunglasses!
