I've got a number of equine things to sell, none worth very much so don't want to use ebay and pay fees. Things like a used Monty Roberts dually - maybe worth £8? A used Micklem (£50). Seems a shame to have these items sitting around when someone else could be using them. Where can I advertise? Doesn't need to be local as I am happy to post.

I know you said doesn't have to be local, but I often find local facebook groups to be the busiest groups. Surrey Horse and Pony for example has 28k members

Local village pages, I have found these good. FB market place has only brought in scammers sadly. eBay was good but haven't used it for a while.

Yes!! Ebay is now free to sell unless your a business seller or for cars.
I've not used ebay in a while but have sold lots of little bits and bobs this week because i figured it all adds up and is more worthwhile now there are no fees. I've got £67 in my ebay account, this has also changed. Instead of an instant pay out you can just keep it in your ebay account and save it. £67 for stuff thats been hanging round my tack room for ages because they were not worth advertising isn't bad!

I'm a bit obsessed now 🤣
Otherwise I like Twitter eventing's selling page on FB

Am I thinking correctly that eBay will then get interest on your money ?

FB market place and you can select a number of relevant pages and groups you are a member of as part of that. I’ve recently sold £150 of stuff quite easily. Some hasn’t sold but will readvertise at some point.
