best fly/insect repellent roll on or cream??

tri tec 14 seems very good. using it on mine it is in a spray bottle but you could spray onto a sponge and wipe away. it isnt cheap but does do the job even works with horse flies!!! it has had v good reports. tho as always some neg ones too. BUT works for me and my horses. example 2 of mine are in with 2 liveries.... mine are quiet and grazing the other 2 are swishing and stamping......................... whilst trying to graze.

I invested in Coopers this year and I'm glad I did as we had a LOT of midges and flies. Couldn't apply it with the sponge that came with it though (far too YELLOW and scary!!!)... I ended up decanting it into a spray bottle and putting on a latex glove with an old woolly one over the top, spraying it and then using my "hand" to rub around their ears and inside the tips.....
