I'm going to treat my mare to a new fly sheet from my winnings today but cant decide on which one. Her Premier Equine one is rather tight around her neck.

Any recommendations?

have amigos on both of ours but they are rather tight on the shoulders, even though one has practically no shoulders!

will upgrade to the rambo protector at some point when finances allow! my bug rug is on 3rd season now I think though and still in good nick with daily use!

Depending on your winnings!! I love my rambo sweetitch hoody, the best thing about it is that even when the horses head is down grazing the neck part of the rug covers the whole neck. My mare doesn't have sweetitch but we do have seriously nasty biting midges at the yard, and it stands up to the job, the only parts I'm left to spray are between her front legs and hind legs!

They are also hardwearing, I had a weatherbeeta that wasn't a patch on this rug before getting it.

I have the Amigo Mio for my big Girl Melly, its great, but as with all rugs on her the neck wont close so she has an additional bit stitched on..this is its 2nd summer and going strong! I brought Seren (12.2 shp) a cottage craft pony one the other day...doesnt fit 'too' badly but wont buy another - however it keeps the flies off her and all her blotches and lumps have gone...and it stands up to her rolling, so Im pleased! If I had the money it would be rambo tho, having used them at the yard, they are fab rugs!

I've got a Pessoa sweet itch hoody. It covers up his poll and has a hole for his ears - you can also put a mask with it if you need to.

My cob is a big chunky boy and usually takes a 6'3" but probably the 6' would be OK for him. This one has plenty of room in it for him to graze and get his head down without it coming away from his ears. I think I got in the Robinson's sale; not sure.

Personally I would not buy the "cheapy" fly rugs coz they're just not worth the money - my boy is good at wrecking them, two days is the current limit for trashing cheapy rugs!!
