Any suggestions welcome please! Horse has been scoped with ulcers today, and being sent home with some gastroguard.

She will require some form of supplement after her course, which I will obviously discuss with the vet, however any suggestions on here gratefully received.

My boy has finished his GG course, and the following is his diet:

1 stubbs scoop Dengie Healthy Tummy
2 mugs Saracen Releve
1/2 mug micronised linseed
1 15g scoop fenugreek
1 15g scoop Alltech Lifeforce (PM SlinkyUnicorn on here for more information- I highly recommend it - I was using FeedMark Ulcer Calm, which worked really well, but the lifeforce works just as well and is an alround supp too - I was feeding Benevit in addition to the ulcercalm, but dont need to now)

So far so good, he's no longer girthy, going brilliantly in the school (when its not been covered in snow) - and my confidence with him is slowly creeping back...

There are so many products, its difficult to know where to start and if you really need to.

Currently my horse is on
Alfa A Mollasses free
Top Spec Anti Lam
Speedibeet
Lifeforce (one of the ingredients is yea sacc)
Aloe Vera

So far so good, although not ridden him for two months due to other commitments, weather etc but is certainly happier to be brushed/rugged etc.

Previously inbetween ulcer bouts he was on Charcoal but the ulcers returned, probably due to stress reasons.

My horse is going for re scope next week. I have started him on protoxien which someone on here recommended. All I can say is he is eating it which is good as he is fussy over supplements. Read that denman is on it for what that is worth!
