Can anyone recommend a not-ridiculously-expensive foot supplement to feed?

my boy's never had great feet (the joys of having a TB!), and although he hasn't lost shoes etc in a long time (touch wood), I just want to give them a bit of a boost this summer, especially as the ground is like rock already.

I've heard the Equine America one and the NAF ones are good - anyone with personal experiences?

He already has Keratex moisturiser which has worked really well, but just want a bit extra to keep him comfortable.

If your horse is on a balance diet you should not need to feed a supplement to help with hooves.

The only thing which will help hooves is biotin and degie have bough out a new bulker and it is called healthy hoovesand contains alot of biotin.

The best thing i have found for my TB is hoof moist.. it is water based.. not oil based and therefore does not dry the hooves out.

All he's on is Hi-Fi Lite, soya oil, equivite and cortaflex.
I can't feed any sort of mix or cereal as he's a) prone to aozturia and b) a loon on anything other than fibre only.

Whether that's enough to keep his hooves healthy.......his coat and general health are superb, he hasn't looked better in all the time I've had him. But maybe he could do with a boost for his feet.........am thinking of biting the bullet and going for formula 4 feet........

I am honestly not connected with the company but try contacting balanced horse feeds. Its called mix but not like other mixes with a view to tying up and making them silly
