Hi All

I'm in desperate need of a good pair of gloves, my hands are in such a state. They are so chapped and sore! Can any one recommend a pair of gloves that are water-proof?

Thanks in advance

atlas gloves, they are only water proof underneath but are amazing!! so comfy they are like a second skin and you forget they are on which is good coz i hate having to take gloves off to do rug straps and stuff.

Transform your hands by buying the disposable gloves (20 for £1 at the cheapie £1 type shops). Wear them ALWAYS under whatever gloves you buy as you don't have to take them off while doing the horses at any point. I discovered them this year after 20+ years of split, sore hands. Doh!

I wear nitrile disposable gloves (hospital type ones) under warmer gloves as my hand get very chapped very quickly. Great cos you can whisk of warmer gloves to do more fiddly stuff and they are a good price £4 for 100 last time I bought on ebay..

Don't know about waterproof gloves but if your hands are really bad smother them in vaseline or almond oil before you go to bed and then put cotton gloves on overnight, mine were back to normal after about 4 days.

Thanks very much for all your reply's. I think Ire try the disposable gloves under my normal one's. My poor hands look 10 years older than the rest of me at the mo!
