Just wondering what you guys think is the best Gypsy Cob/Vanner in the country (world if you like)?

This is just wishful thinking from me, not planning on having a foal, I wish. But just interested. Obviously I know it depends on the mare etc. But just what’s your favourite?

Thanks,
Jo

Well yeap I would like too, but how realistic it is I don’t know, but we can all dream. I have always said when Bodey got to 10 (he is 6 this year) that I would buy a foal. So when the foal is 3, I can back that and have a cross over between Bodey and the new one, if that makes sense?

I am very partial to the true Gypsy Cobs. Have loved them since I was a child.

If I win the lottery, then it’s a definite YES!

I like a couple of the Lionheart stallions (Oswald and Sundance), Mr Pickles and Vines Nobby too. Rawlings have a couple of gorgeous stallions too

Travellers lines have some lovely smaller stallions.

I've been having a look at Gypsy Cob lines and foals for a while now and am planning on purchasing one when I've paid off my credit card in a couple of years time although I was seriously tempted by a little colt recently.

I have a 3 year old gypsy cob and she is the best horse i have ever bought.she is exellent in everyway and is currently being broken to ride which she has taken to very well. I hope to breed some gypsy stock from her and she is homozygous aswell which is a bonus. They seem to be making a lot of money.
