Good morning, I'm a long-time lurker here from the US who just moved from the States the Windsor area with my horse. (And if you're wondering about my user name, it's in honor of one of my smaller critters, my Chihuahua named "Killer.) I'm looking for a hay rack - not a net - to put into my horse's stall. Long story short, my horse, who is a total pig, once ate a large piece of a rope hay net and had to have colic surgery to remove it from his colon. I don't like using hayents with him now, because why tempt fate on something he has done before?
He's also quite messy, so putting it on the floor isn't ideal either, and the type of hay feeder we used for him in the US, it was integrated in the custom manufactured into the stall walls, won't work. Does any one have a brand of hay rack they could recommend? Yard owner is totally onboard with installing one.
Thank you in advance!
