Hi all,
I am looking for some hi vis stuff. I was wondering what hi vis stuff you ride in and where you get them from. What colours do you use as well? I have a hi vis vest but think I need more than just that. I know some local riders who don't believe in wearing hi vis round our lanes as they are quiet but I don't think that's right.

I use vbandz, all very good stuff that lasts for ages and very good quality. I use a mix of all the colours, as that way you are less likely to ever get caught out because you blend!

I need a set of ears next though, but may have trouble getting them to fit these lugs lol

May I just say, I love your horse!

I have this rug - http://www.horze.co.uk/reflective-horse-wear/bzeen-reflective-riding-rug/29326.html?color=OR
Love the fact it is 360 degree hi viz. I prefer orange as I think it stands out more than yellow for a rug.
I then have these boots - http://www.redpostequestrian.co.uk/...xZUxg3oNnTn1ZFq1vb1FFIaLkgK2iX_8p8aApid8P8HAQ
For me I have a hi viz hat silk and one of those silver super hi viz coats (i got a cycling one for £25 so much cheaper than an equine one!) plus flashing lights on my helmet front and back.
It may seem a little OTT but I have to hack along an A road to get out of our property.

the v-bandz stuff is very good.

also see what your local agri merchant has in if you are looking for clothes for yourself.

one word of caution - always check the wash labels. Hi-viz fades fairly quickly through wear so you will be replacing frequently.

I'm a hi viz queen - in winter I wear a Joy Riderz hi viz coat (no longer made I think) with a hi viz vest over it, Shires hi viz riding tights, a hi viz hat cover and Shires hi viz gloves, my horse has a hi viz neck band and leg wraps - you see us from about a mile away :D

As a good flexible piece of kit, I like the Parsons rump http://www.parsonsrump.co.uk/

It's not too hot for the summer but you put it over a quarter or exercise sheet if you need warmth so I can use ones I already have that are not high viz

That's is a great piece of kit .
I won't use exercise sheets most of the time because of the whole vitamin D thing .
Now where is my credit card

Just had a look at v bandz they look good but I would need stuff that can fit round very fluffy cob feathers.

I have these: http://www.v-bandz.co.uk/category-40/COMBI-DLB.html in cob-horse size (14 inch leg), they also do extra full (17 inch leg). I put them over my horse's brushing boots, they are quite adjustable and I see no reason why they wouldn't fit a horse with lots of feather.
